Classroom on Wheels (6 sessions)
Explore Sarasota….its culture and historical beginnings. Learn more about local business and industry, social services, government, religion, education, and much more. The Classroom on Wheels is a bus-based traveling classroom providing half-day field trips throughout our community. Board the bus at conveniently located pick-up stops throughout the Sarasota area. Choose from three morning classes (four in winter) for eight weeks of exploring, learning, and fun. Since 1974, Classroom on Wheels has visited or learned about well over 1,400 places and people in our area, providing long-time residents with a new perspective on our changing community and newcomers with an excellent introduction to Sarasota NO CLASSES WEEK OF THANKSGIVING.
