….The French program is based on the method of combining dialogues, vocabulary, and grammar. Learning French means you need to study these fields to be able to understand or speak French, whether you are a beginner or an advanced student. Text books are required for the French classes..

French for Travelers (8 sessions)
Traveling to France or any French speaking area? Then this class is for you! This class helps the traveler with ordering in a restaurant, shopping, using essential services such as the bank, post office, hotel, and transportation. It also provides a better understanding of French etiquette, directions, and other topics that the students request.

French I (8 sessions)
French pronunciation, basic vocabulary (greetings, hotel, breakfast, restaurant, public transportation, directions), and basic grammar rules (arrangement of sentences, gender of nouns and adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, verbs at the present tense) are covered in this class. By the end of this course, students should be able to understand and build a basic French sentence.

French, Intermediate I (8 sessions)
This course advances your knowledge, appreciation and adoration of not only the French language, but also the culture, history, geography, etc. through the use of various text books, videos, DVD's, printed material (hand-outs), magazines, pictures, music, and objects d'art brought into the class. Learn, share travel experiences, and enjoy! Merci!

French, Intermediate II/Advanced (8 sessions)
Cette classe a éte' cree' pour les individus qui comprennent le français et qui le parle couramment. Le cours sera une revue générale de la grammaire ainsi que de la prononciation et les élèves feront des exercises écrits et oraux. C'est une classe idéale pour ceux qui veulent mieux séxprimer, mais qui veulent aussi pouvoir mieux écrire. Si vous comprennez ce texte, vous pourrez suivre les travaux de la classe. Pour vous enregister dans ce cours, vous devez avoir étudie' le français au moins trois ans à l'école, ou vous avez vecu dans un pays francophone où vous avez appris la langue.
