Sinks leaking? Toilet won't stop running? Tile or wood floors marred or cracked? Explore how to prevent common problems with these issues and ways to save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in costly repairs.
This class focuses on managing the water that you want in the house, what to do when the water appears where you least expect it and where the water goes when you are finished with it? Topics covered are supply lines, sinks, toilets, hot water heaters, and drainage. NOT COVERED: pools, installation, circulation/filtration or heating.

Selling Your House...Roadblocks & Solutions (3 sessions)
Want to make your house unique and ready for this difficult real estate market? Learn basic and new ideas of getting your house ready to sell. Bring photos of your house, inside and out, and discover ways to solve potential roadblocks to selling. The focus is on ways to solve problems that are potential roadblocks to selling a house. This program includes participation of two volunteers who are willing to have their house critiqued. Students take a road trip to visit the two homes to learn how to prepare a house for sale, and by student input assist in accomplishing practical solutions to the home's problem areas.

Divine Decor...Basic Interior Decorating (8 session)
This interactive class is designed to teach the basics of good interior design, including color schemes, space planning, window treatments, and many other areas to help you become adept in decorating your home. Have fun with fabric samples, learning to do floor plans, color boards, and finding the design style that suits your individual needs and dreams .MATERIAL FEE OF $15 IS NONREFUNDABLE.

Discuss why we landscape, the planning process, principles of design, design criteria, various stages in design development, the eIements needed in a landscape plan, cost estimating the design, and documenting the process. Picture Framing & Matting, Beginning (5 sessions)
Students learn the techniques of mounting, matting, and framing photos, prints, paintings, needlework, and collectibles to display them proudly in a suitable setting. Guide to selection of material and use of professional tools and equipment are provided by the instructor. Tools, equipment, and material to construct two complete 8 x 10 picture frames are provided. Students must then bring frame and mat supplies for further projects of their own choosing. MATERIAL FEE OF $35 FOR THIS CLASS IS NONREFUNDABLE.

Picture Framing & Matting, Intermediate (5 sessions)
This class is designed for those who have taken the introductory course or who have instructor approval. Advanced students learn the techniques of various styles of mat cutting, including specialty corners, multiple matting, circles, ovals, V-grooves, inlays, and filets. Tools, equipment, and material to construct one complete wooden 11 x 14 picture frame are provided. Students must then bring frame and mat supplies for further projects of their own choosing. MATERIAL FEE OF $30 FOR THIS CLASS IS NONREFUNDABLE
